I was responsible for the setup and creation of an AR framework initially based on javascript with JSARToolkit and later based on the AR middleware Wikitude. Created the initial application “Xtend” including a CMS system written in PHP. Today this is used at media companies and in several public schools.

The AR app (Cordova based) scans markers (looking like normal photos etc.) and loads the data from the CMS. The app can display Video, Image, Image slides and 3D Objects directly on top of the scanned marker. Additionally it supports weblinks and a custom integrated Panorama and room tour. Everything can be set up via the CMS I build from the ground up in PHP and is now extended upon by my work colleagues.
